Tax Credits
Earned Income Tax Credit Information for the 2010 Tax Year
The California Child Care Resource and Referral Network and Parent
Voices are working together with the National Women’s Law Center to
promote tax credits for working families. These tax credits can provide
tremendous benefits to working families by helping them to make ends
meet. Often times work is not enough to lift some families out of
poverty. The federal tax refunds, such as the federal Earned Income
Credit and Child Tax Credit, help working families pay for housing,
food, eduacation, debt reduction and the opportunity to save and
increase their assets. It helps lift children and families out of
poverty and puts money back into our local economy. For more information
