The Network monitors child care-related legislation at the state and federal levels. In coordination with the Network's Policy Agenda (written and adopted by R&R member organizations each year) and in consultation with the Network’s Public Policy Committee, positions are taken related to legislation impacting child care and/or children and families. At times, the Network will provide testimony regarding the impacts, both positive and negative for children and families, and sends letters of support or opposition.
