R&R Day at Capitol

Every year since 1995, the Network has spearheaded an annual day at the State Capitol (Sacramento) where hundreds of R&R staffers, boardmembers, and others gather to meet with legislators and legislative staff to ensure full understanding of the important role resource and referral plays in the lives of parents, providers, and communities.

The 2011 R&R Day at the Capitol was held February 1st, drawing participants from across the state. Members delivered Policy Information Binders to every legislator, encouraging their use as reference tools for decisionmaking and policy development related to child care issues.
